Our practice determines the suitability of telehealth services on a case-by-case basis, considering factors such as the client's location, the nature of their concerns, and the availability of appropriate technology. Prior to engaging in telehealth services, clients will be required to provide informed consent, acknowledging the potential benefits, limitations, and risks associated with telehealth.

    • Clients must ensure they have access to a reliable internet connection, a compatible device (e.g., computer, smartphone), and necessary software or applications to participate in telehealth sessions.

    • Our practice is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of telehealth sessions to the same extent as in-person services. However, clients are responsible for ensuring their privacy during telehealth sessions by participating in a secure and private environment.

    • In the event of a crisis or emergency during a telehealth session, it is important for us to establish an alternative means of contacting emergency services or their local crisis hotline.
