Connecting You With Us

We accept referrals and self-referrals. Our dedicated team will verify your insurance on your behalf to ensure you have a clear understanding of your insurance benefits, potential costs, and any preauthorization requirements before we put you on the schedule. You will need to fill out paperwork prior to your appointment or arrive at least 15 minutes earlier to allow time to fill it out.

Assessments typically are done in one day (2-5 hours on average), but may take multiple days in some cases. The assessment includes interviews and tests administered on paper and on the computer. Some tests may feel easy, while others may feel complex, the most important thing is to try your best. You should not worry about your performance, as these tests cannot be passed or failed. After you completed the assessment, Dr. Hopewell will evaluate the results of the assessment and synthesize them into a report detailing your strengths and weaknesses.

Your comprehensive report with recommended treatment guidelines will be sent to your referring clinician by a minimum of 21 business days. If a follow up appointment is desired, you have the option to schedule a follow up appointment to review the results and to discuss any questions with Dr. Hopewell.
These optional follow up appointments can be done in person or remotely.

A neuropsychological evaluation assesses how the brain functions, providing information about its structure and abilities. It uses non-invasive clinical methods such as a series of interviews and tests that may be done on the computer or with pencil and paper. Some tasks may be completed by the patient with help, while most require our team member to administer them.

It takes 14 to 21 business days for your report to be sent to your referring clinician.
For individuals requesting a copy of their report, please note that your request is determined on a case by case basis and that Dr. Hopewell reserves the right to determine if an individual patient may receive psychological records or reports under Texas laws.
